YOU EXPRESSLY UNDERSTAND AND AGREE THAT CHICO EVENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO, DAMAGES FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, GOODWILL, USE, DATA OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES (EVEN IF CHICO EVENTS E HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES), RESULTING FROM: (i) THE USE OR THE INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE; (ii) THE COST OF PROCUREMENT OF SUBSTITUTE GOODS AND SERVICES RESULTING FROM ANY GOODS, DATA, INFORMATION OR SERVICES PURCHASED OR OBTAINED OR MESSAGES RECEIVED OR TRANSACTIONS ENTERED INTO THROUGH OR FROM THE SERVICE; (iii) UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS TO OR ALTERATION OF YOUR TRANSMISSIONS OR DATA; (iv) STATEMENTS OR CONDUCT OF ANY THIRD PARTY ON THE SERVICE; OR (v) ANY OTHER MATTER RELATING TO THE SERVICE
Right to Delete Posts
While we do not and cannot review every event posted on the Chico Events website and are not responsible for the content of these posts, we reserve the right to delete, move or edit events that we deem abusive, defamatory, obscene, in violation of copyright or trademark laws, or otherwise unacceptable. All posts in the website must be written in English. We reserve the right to remove the posts that violate these standards of behavior at any time. Events from the surrounding areas to Chico may be posted in the ‘Near Chico’ category. Events from outside of the Chico, CA and surrounding areas will be removed from the Chico Events website.
Uploading
You cannot upload to the website, or distribute or otherwise publish through it, anything that is libelous, defamatory, obscene, pornographic or abusive, or that otherwise violates any United States law. Chico Events regrets that it cannot honor requests to remove posts except when such postings violate our business policies.
No Graphics
Graphics, audio, javascript and foreign-language posts are not allowed on the Chico Events website. Posts containing graphics, etc will be modified to remove the offending materials.
Noncommercial
The website can be used only in a noncommercial manner. You cannot, without the express approval of Chico Events, distribute or otherwise publish material containing any solicitation of funds, advertising or solicitation of goods or services. We reserve the right to remove advertising posts and posts that are not public events.
Spamming
Repeatedly posting off-topic events or “spamming” Chico Events by posting the same message in multiple categories or otherwise deliberately disrupting our website is unacceptable behavior. We reserve the right to prohibit users who in any way violate acceptable website behavior from participating on our website. Users remain solely responsible for the content of their messages.
